Český Krumlov
Town of Český Krumlov, with its Oldtown in the middle of meanders, represents a true jewel in the medieval architecture of Southern Bohemia. By its location, close to German and Austrian borders, it was always cosmopolitan mixture of both Czech and German speaking inhabitants. In the age of Rožmberk dynasty, the town flourished significantly. Current overwiev of the historical town centre reflects that era. Integrity and virginity of the historical town centre and extant traditions, today still seen in cutlural and social life, are suggestive challenge for a visit. Also the romantic, untouched landscape of Southern Bohemia abounding with beauties of nature as well as with ancient residential towns, castles, mansions and original rural residents is the true place, which is worth to explore. The town has become unseparable part of UNESCO world cultural heritage since 1992.
