Alma, Franz, Gustav - these are the names of each suite in this part of the Hotel. And what led architect Velíšek to select them? Here we shall grant you an explanation. It is a part of his creative concept and period setting with which the whole design is interlaced and it is explained in this prosaic statement:
Alma Mahler was the most famous diva of Vienna at the turn of the century. Gustav Mahler was her first and Franz Werfel her last husband - both men were born in Bohemia.
